I posted to my Twitter account a few months ago that I have had some money trickling in to my PayPal account every couple of weeks, which is nice. It’s coming from a few different sources, which I like. Diversification is a good thing.
Here’s what I do to earn a little gas money (or more):
1. YouData. This is a little pay-per-click service that pays 10-15 cents or more per click for you to look at some advertiser websites. You don’t have to buy anything. You just click and move on. I can do a bunch of offers in about 2 minutes and made $2.46. That’s not much, but when’s the last time you got paid $1 a minute?
The nice thing about them is they pay biweekly to your PayPal account. You don’t have to build up $30 worth of offers just to get a payout. Sign up here (and yes, I do get paid a referral fee if you sign up, but don’t let that stop you!). Once you sign up you can get your own referral link.
2. Paid blogging. Probably nobody likes this, but I’ve found it to be somewhat lucrative. I have a couple of sites that send me assignments and articles to write and post to my blog. You can get $5 and up for posts of usually 60-100 words, depending on your PageRank, etc. It’s not hard or terribly time-consuming (unless you hate to write). Payouts are bi-weekly or monthly depending on the site. E-mail me if you’re interested and I will point you in the direction of the sites I use that I know are legitimate.
3. Inboxdollars.com. I haven’t actually received a payout from this site yet (the minimum threshold is $30.00) but I’ve managed to make $24.14 so far by just clicking on the links in the e-mails they send me. I haven’t purchased a single item. You can sign up by going here.
4. Ebates. Now, Ebates is not strictly a money-making program. You do have to spend money to make money here, but if you’re already shopping online, then why shouldn’t you get a percentage of your purchases back in cash? Log in to the Ebates website, find the link to your favorite store, use that link to access the store, and any purchase you make at that time is credited back to you at the specified percentage. Payout is quarterly. Here’s how I use it: I do all of my shopping there, and whenever I am traveling, I book through hotels.com through Eba tes. I get the incentive from hotels.com (free nights after so many stays) plus 2% and up returned from every stay. Combine that with coupon codes for your favorite stores and you could be getting deep discounts. Click here to sign up for free.
5. I’ve Tried That. I’ve written a couple of articles for the guys over at I’ve Tried That and I really believe in what they are doing over there. They are committed to finding legitimate work from home and online job opportunities. Check out their Free Directory of Online Money Making Opportunities.
What I won’t do: SURVEYS. I’m a married white female with no children in my mid-30s and I live in a fairly affluent area (even though we are not affluent). I never qualify for any surveys, so I’ve stopped bothering with them. Better luck to you.

Yes, I’m afraid so. I am really just so happy to have this thing.
We leave it on here most of the time, just waiting for us to use it. Irish will be doing homework or I will be reading or writing, and it’s on, so he can hop on for bit and have some batting practice, or I can play 17 games of tennis or do the Advanced Step on Wii Fit.
I took the advice of my brother (aka the world’s greatest webmaster) and picked up My Fitness Coach last week. This is less like games and more like working out, but I love it.
The trainer is pleasant, and the workout is never the same configuration twice. The 15 minute session is quite the workout and the 30 minute session is very challenging. It has been instrumental in breaking my recent plateau.
Still having fun and seeing results. I think I’ve managed to convert all my friends, too.

(If you want to read it, my story is here: http://cliopatra.xanga.com/356857/item/)
We had a media blackout at home this morning, in deference to my somewhat fragile mental state on days like this. It’s amazing how peaceful the morning was, and how early I got out of the house! Maybe we can make this a regular thing?
I’m all for remembering. I think it’s important to remember. My problem is that the visual aspect of the news coverage gives me nightmares. I saw it live, in person, and the endless loop of video on every channel just destroys me.
I follow @TweetJeebus on Twitter, and he said something profound this morning: Who was the first person you called when you heard about 9/11? Would they still be the first today? Tell them so.
I hope that you will take the time today to seek out the people that you love and tell them that you love them. Hold them close, because you never know what tomorrow brings. Forgive a grudge, hold a hand, kiss the face of someone who means something to you.
You won’t regret showing love, only not showing it.
TweetJeebus has been right on today: Everday is the anniversary of something bad. The trick is realizing that next year, it could also be the anniversary of something good.
Do what you can to make today a better day than yesterday.
